These general terms and conditions apply to all participation in experiences organized by Huskyguiden
It
is the customer's responsibility to read and understand these terms and
conditions.
By booking experiences with Huskyguiden, you confirm that you have
read and accepted the following:
I acknowledge that participation in activities organized by Huskyguiden involves a certain level of risk of accidents and injury, and that participation is undertaken at my own responsibility. By booking and/or participating in activities arranged by Huskyguiden, I accept this risk.
I confirm that I have familiarized myself with Huskyguiden's safety rules and agree to comply with all safety regulations and instructions provided by Huskyguiden's staff.
I undertake to immediately notify Huskyguiden's staff if I discover any defects or deficiencies in equipment, or if I observe any conditions that may pose a risk to my own safety or the safety of others.
I am aware that some of the activities offered by Huskyguiden may involve physical strain, and that such activities are not recommended for pregnant individuals, persons with back, neck, or pelvic conditions, or individuals with other health conditions that may be aggravated by physical exertion.
I confirm that I have read, understood, and accepted this liability waiver in its entirety, and that the declaration is binding upon me as well as any participants for whom I make bookings.
Booking, Payment, and Cancellation
When booking and paying through our booking system, a full refund is available up to 7 days before the activity starts.
- Cancellations made 7 days or less before the scheduled activity will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 2 days or less before the scheduled activity will be charged 100% of the total amount.
No-Show / Failure to Attend
If
you do not show up at the agreed time and location for a booked tour, no refund
will be issued.
This also applies if you arrive late without prior notice and
without receiving approval from us for the delay.
There may be other participants booked in the same time slot, and in such cases the guide must start the tour as scheduled and is therefore unable to wait for late arrivals.
Special cancellation rules apply to group bookings and events.
cancellations
must be made at least 14 days before the event. Cancellations made later than
this will be charged 50%. If cancellation is not made at least 5 days before
the event, or in the event of no-show, the full amount will be charged and no
refund will be given. Please contact us for pricing and information regarding
group bookings and events.
All
cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to ken.stian@huskyguden.no
The person
making the booking is financially responsible for the full amount of the booked
activity. The customer is also responsible for any costs related to
international bank transfers. No refunds will be given for no-shows without
prior notice.
Cancellation by Huskyguiden
If
we are required to cancel due to extreme weather or unsafe trail conditions,
you will be notified as soon as possible.
We will either offer an alternative
date or produkt at the earliest opportunity,
Or provide a full refund
In
cases of force majeure, including but not limited to extreme weather causing
road closures, lack of transportation options, traffic accidents blocking
access, pandemics, natural disasters, fire, or other circumstances beyond our
control, tickets are non-refundable.
Travel and Health Insurance
We strongly recommend that you check whether your travel, accident, or health insurance covers cancellations or medical assistance. Huskyguiden does not cover such costs.
You are responsible for assessing your own health before participating in our activities and for informing us of any relevant medical conditions. Please contact us if you are unsure whether the activity is suitable for you.
Huskyguiden reserves the right to deny participation if this is deemed necessary for your own safety.
Safety, Risk, and Liability
Upon arrival, you will receive safety instructions and information regarding potential risks. You will be instructed on how to interact with the dogs and how the dog sledding activity is conducted. Participants are expected to follow all instructions and recommendations, including those related to appropriate clothing. Failure to comply may result in denial of participation for the safety of both guests and dogs.
We take safety seriously and do everything reasonably possible to reduce risks. However, Huskyguiden cannot be held responsible for injuries or accidents caused by the participant or by circumstances beyond human control.
By participating, you acknowledge that outdoor activities involving live animals carry an inherent risk of accidents, personal injury, and unforeseen events. These risks are considered minimal when instructions and guidelines are followed.
Huskyguiden cannot be held liable for personal injury or damage to clothing or equipment occurring during the activity or during transportation to and from the activity.
Your health, including any known or unknown medical conditions, is your own responsibility. Huskyguiden cannot be held responsible for sudden illness or medical episodes.
Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or medication that may impair judgment or awareness during any activity.
Children are welcome, and we take extra care when children participate. However, accompanying adults are responsible for supervising children at all times. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult during activities and in the kennel area unless otherwise agreed with the guide. Adults are responsible for ensuring that children understand and follow all instructions.
Huskyguiden holds liability insurance covering incidents within our area of responsibility.
Photography and Social Media
Huskyguiden
may take photos during activities for marketing purposes, including use on
social media and on our website.
We always ask for Consent in such cases.
